The 49th meeting of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts of the Eleventh Jatiya Sangsad was held in the Jatiya Sangsad.
Committee Chairman Rustam Ali Farazi presided over the meeting held on Wednesday while other members- Abul Kalam Azad, Md. Abdus Shahid, Md. Shahiduzzaman Sarkar and R M A Ubaidul Muktadul Chowdhury attended the meeting, among others.
The meeting discussed the annual audit report of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Department of Health Services) for the financial year 2013-14 and 2014-15 prepared by the Department of Foreign Aided Project.
The meeting recommended taking necessary action after reviewing and analyzing various audit objections said a press release.
The meeting was also attended by the Auditor General and the Comptroller, Secretaries of the concerned ministries and the concerned officials of the Parliament Secretariat.
