The third meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Social Welfare was held on Thursday at Jatiya Sangsad(JS) Bhaban here with its Chairman Rashed Khan Menon in the chair.
Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed as well as State Minister for Social Welfare Sharif Ahmed and other committee members, including Nasreen Jahan Ratna, Bodruddoza Md Farhad Hossain, A K M Sarwar Jahan, Kazi Kaniz Sultana and Begum Aroma Dutta attended the meeting, among others.
The implementation report of the decisions taken in the 2nd meeting was presented before the meeting and detailed discussions were held in this regard, a press release said.
At the meeting, the committee discussed the appointment of the post of ‘Resource Teacher’.
