The 6th meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Local Government, Rural Development (LGRD) and Co-operatives ministry was held on Thursday at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban with committee Chairman Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain in the chair.
Other members of the committee Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives (LGRD) Md Tajul Islam, Md Moshiur Rahman Ranga, Sk Afil Uddin, Rebecca Momin, Razee Mohammad Fakhrul, Md Shah E Alam and Abdus Salam Murshedi attended the meeting, said an official press release.
In the meeting, prayers were offered seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other martyrs of August 15 carnage and all martyrs of the 1971 Liberation War.
