The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges on Wednesday held its 19th meeting at Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban here.
Presided over by its chairman Md Ekabbar Hossain, committee members Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, AKMA Awal, Nazmul Haque Prodhan, Md Monirul Islam and Lutfun Nesa attended the meeting.
The committee recommended completing the unfinished work on the ongoing development projects under the Sylhet zone of Roads and Highways Department (RHD) quickly.
The committee also proposed repairing the roads damaged during the rainy season within the dry season.
High officials of the ministry and the JS secretariat were present at the meeting.
