Parliamentary Standing Committee on Shipping Ministry on Thursday recommended increasing the number of eligible trainees at Bangladesh Marine Academy.
The committee came up with the recommendation at its 46th meeting at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here today with its chairman Major Rafiqul Islam (retd), Bir Uttam in the chair, said a press release.
Committee members Talukdar Abdul Khalek, Md. Nurul Islam Sujan and M. Abdul Latif took part in the meeting. The committee suggested the ministry not to take any decision which is conflicting with the government’s policy.
