Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Social Welfare asked the ministry to fill up the field-level vacant posts of the Department of Social Services(DSS).
The committee came up with the recommendation at the 9th meeting held on Wednesday at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with its Chairman M Mozammel Hossain in the chair.
Committee members including Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali,
Promode Mankin, Ayesha Ferdous, M Habibe Millat, M Abdul Matin and Lutfa Taher attended the meeting.
The parliamentary watchdog body also suggested for taking necessary measures on the recent incidents in the Meherpur Government Children Family on the basis of investigation.
DSS Director General, additional secretary of the ministry and officials concerned were present at the meeting.
