The presence of doctors in their respective workplaces in the hilly areas should be ensured.
This was told at the fourth meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs held on Wednesday at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban with committee member Dipankar Talukder in the chair, said a press release.
The meeting recommended to introduce the register book or electronic device in doctors workplaces to ensure their presence in the hill tracts areas.
Committee members – Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs Minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Singh, A B M Fazle Karir Chowdhury, Kujendra Lal Tripura and Basnati Chakma were also present at the meeting.
Secretary of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry and JS senior officials were also present at the meeting.
