Chattogram Bureau :
Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change at a meeting on Tuesday with its Chairman Dr Hasan Mahmud recommended the ministry to take immediate initiatives for collecting high yielding rubber saplings for planting in North Chattogram adjoining Chattogram Hill districts.
The committee also recommended for taking steps to start the second phase work of the Raozan-Rangunia rubber garden of Chattogram district. .The recommendations was made at the 43rd meeting of the committee held at the Jatiya Sangsad with its chairman Dr Hasan Mahmud in the chair, a sources of the lawmaker said.
