The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Shipping Ministry recommended completing walkway construction work in Shahrasti and Haziganj upazila in Chandpur district. The parliamentary watchdog made the recommendation at its 10th meeting held on Thursday at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with committee Chairman Major (retd) Rafiqul Islam in the chair, a handout said.
