A parliamentary standing committee on Land Ministry on Wednesday suggested stern action against the frauds to stop increasing of forgery, disputes and criminals cases over the land related issues.
The JS body in its sixth meeting also suggested of making software dossiers of land to stop harassment and getting quick information of the land.
With its Chairman Md Rezaul karim Hira in the chair, among others, Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif, Md Ekabbar Hossain, Md Mokbul Hossain, Samsul Alam Dudu and AKM Maidul Islam were present at the meeting.
It also suggested making change and modification to the Vested Property Act to simplify the law.
The JS body also recommended of strengthening the activities of Cluster Village (Guchchha Gram) and Adarsha (ideal) Village project.
