The Jatiya Sangsad on Sunday expressed profound shock at the death of former President Abdur Rahman Biswas and four former parliament members.
The Jatiya Sangsad has adopted a condolence motion placed by the Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury.
The 18th session of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad has begun on Sunday afternoon at Sangsad Bhaban with Speaker Shirin Sharmin in the chair.
Other late parliament members revered by the Jatiya Sangsad are-former minister MK Anwar, Sardar Mosharraf Hossain, Shafiqul Islam, Mofazzal Hossain and Md. Mortuza Hossain Mollah.
The House also condoled the death of Shila Islam, spouse of Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam, AM Nurul Islam, private secretary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and founder President of Awami League USA chapter, noted sportsman Shamsul Alam Molla.
