JP will not join grand alliance: Ershad

Jatiya Party (JP) Chief and the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy Hussain Mohammad Earshad said, JP will not join the grand alliance this time; JP will contest the National Election individually. The party candidates in 300 seats across the country are being finalized.
He made the observations while talking with the newsmen at the Circuit house of the city yesterday. Ershad said, he earlier did not make any reaction over the 16th amendment of Supreme Court and will not do. He complained that the government had not taken sufficient and effective steps to protect the terrible flood affected victims this year. JP stood beside the victim people and continued their relief support according to their ability.
Ershad said, he hoped that AL will not field any candidate in Rangpur City Corporation [RCC] poll. JP candidate, Mostafizur Rhaman Mostafa will win the city poll with huge margin of votes even if AL deputes their candidate in the election, he hoped.
 Earlier, he landed at Sydpur airport. He distributed relief materials among the flood victims on his way to Rangpur. He was greeted by the district unit party leaders and activists when he reached at Circuit house. JP city unit president, Mostafizur Rhaman and Secretary, Yeasir Ahamed were present .22-8-17
