Promising actress Joya Ahsan of Bangladesh was invited by the Indian filmmaker Srijit to work his forthcoming film ‘Rajkahini’
Joya Ahsan said that she will be cast in one of the central characters of the film. The story of the movie ‘Rajkahini’ based on the partition of India in 1947.
The film will also feature Sabitri Chatyapaddhay, Jishu Sengupta, Kaushik Sen, Rituporna, Bratya Basu and others.
Shooting of ‘Rajkahini’ likely to start from November.
Joya said, “As far as I know the shooting will he held in Bangladesh and at Kolkata.”
The actress refused to make any comment about her character in the film or story of the film.
Being asked, Joya said the director requested her not to tell anything about the film right now.
Joya also said that Srijit is a good director.
It will be great to work with him, added the actress.
