Entertainment Report:The National Film Award winner actress Joya Ahsan’s birthday is today (July 1). But today she will not be able to stay in Bangladesh because the 36th Bongo Sammilan is going to kick off today at Madison Square Garden of New York, USA and Joya is taking part in the conference. This year not only Joya Ahsan but also noted Nazrul singer Ferdous Ara and Tagore artiste Laisa Ahmed Lisa are also attending the conference. To attend the conference, Joya has already reached USA from Kolkata. While contacting with Joya she told this correspondent over mobile phone yesterday, “Though I have some relatives and friends in USA but there is no scope to celebrate my birthday today due to attending the conference there. Everybody pray for me.”In media, Joya started her career to perform as a model in a TV commercial of GEC Fan under the direction of Afzal Hossain. In TV play, she started her journey through Nahid Ahmed Pial directed a play titled Proshonno Pashan. Mahfuz Ahmed was her co-actor in that play.
