UNB, Dhaka :
Young Bangla, under the auspices of Centre For Research and Information, will organise the ‘Joy Bangla Concert’ in the city today marking the historic March 7 speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Bangabandhu’s fiery and dynamic speech that still resonates in the spirit of Bangladeshis had given the Bangalees an electrifying courage to break down the shackles of an oppressive government and create a new country.
In observance of the decisive moment, Young Bangla, a platform for the youth, came up with an initiative to arrange the concert to rekindle the spirit of 1971 among the young generation. The concert will be held at the Army Stadium in the capital. Young Bangla has already disseminated 30,000 free tickets through its website.
All the gates of the Army Stadium will open at 1:30 pm and the concert will continue till late evening.
Most of the leading and popular bands will enthrall the crowd with their songs apart from rendering the patriotic and motivational songs of “Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra”(SBBK) which inspired the war heroes during the liberation war.
Warfaze, Artcell, Arnab and Friends, Shironamhin, Nemesis, Arbovirus and Shunno” are the bands to rock the audience. Rendition of the songs of SBBK will renew the resolute pledges to rid the country of all evil forces.
Young Bangla is a platform initiated by Centre for Research and Information (CRI) and other convening organisations. The key focus of Young Bangla is to integrate the youth from different parts of Bangladesh and involve them to the national development process, Vision 2021.
