Promising TV actor Farhan Ahmed Jovan dreamt to work with National Film Award winner actress Zakia Bari Mamo. To fulfil Jovan’s dream, play director Chayanika Chowdhury extended her hands. Under her direction Jovan got the opportunity to work with Mamo in a play titled Ashomoyer Brittey. Mansur Rahman Chanchal wrote story of the play.
Shooting of the play was done in the city’s Uttara area recently. According to the demand of the story of the play actress Golam Farida Chhonda’s daughter Tapur Tupur also acted who came to Bangladesh recently to pass holidays. Story of the play revolves with Mamo, Jovan and Tapur Tupur.
While talking about the play actress Mamo told this correspondent, “Didi directed the play has become a nice work because its story was exceptional. When there is a good story if the director concentrates on it in full swing it can really become a nice work. I have tried my level best to portray my role properly in the play. Viewers will give their judgment after watching the play. Jovan can act well.”
Jovan shared his feelings by this way, “Now the actresses who are working dedicatedly and sincerely Mamo Apu is one of them. In a word, she is a talented actress. I wished to work with her. Chayanikadi came forward to fulfil my dream in this regard. I am really excited to do the work. I request the viewers to watch the play.”
Produced by Silva Productions the play will be aired in any satellite channel soon, said its director Chayanika Chowdhury.
Meanwhile, Mamo is now engaged with shooting of her two movies – Swapnobari and Bhalobeshey Tor Hobo. She first acted in Tauquir Ahmed’s movie Daruchini Dwip. She got the National Film Award for this movie.
On the other hand, besides acting in single episode plays, Jovan is also engaged with acting in different serials now.
