Media Advisor to the Prime Minister Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury said the role of the journalists are most significant and in need of national crisis journalists played important role .
He disclosed it while exchanging views with the leaders of Chittagong Press Club on Tuesday .
He also told that Prime Minister has consented to formulate the 9th wage board in the meantime and the work for constituting wage board now under process.
General Secretary of Press Club Suklal Das moderated the views exchanging duly presided over by the President of CPC Kalim Sarwar.
Media Advisor also told that the people are getting advantages of social media like facebook, twitter, etc but a ill force is trying to abuse these social medias.
He mentioned that the incumbent govt is more journalist friendly govt and the Prime Minister has emphasized the media since her assuming power from 1996.
Among others, President of CUJ Reaz Haider Chowdhury and the BFUJ Vice President Shahidul Alam spoke in it.
