A two-day Basic First Aid Training for the journalists working in Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), organised by Bangladesh Red Crescent Society and supported by International Red Cross Society (ICRC), has started here from Friday.
Director of Training Department at Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), National Headquarters, M A Halim inaugurated the programme.
Among others, Communication Officer of ICRC R. Sultana Toma, Assistant Director of BDRCS Khandaker Iqbal, President of Rangamati Press Club Shakwat Hossain Rubel, President of Khagrachhari Press Club Jiten Barua, and President of Bandarban Press Club Aminul Islam Bachchu also spoke at the inaugural session.
