Journalists of the country is going to block the roads today demanding immediate announcement of ninth wage board for both print and electronic media, and trial of all journalist killing including Sagar-Runi murder.
In Dhaka, the programme will be held in front of Jatiya Press Club organized by Dhaka union of Journalists (DUJ). Leaders of BFUJ, DUJ, DRU, Sub-Editors Council, Crime Reporters’ Association, Photo Journalists association and other organizations are expected to adress the demonstration, said a press release issued by Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) on Saturday.
BFUJ also urged all journalists’ union and media related organisations across the country to block the roads on the day to make the programme a success, it said.
