Members of journalist community both from print and electronic media will stage sit-in-demonstrations across the country today demanding immediate announcement of the 9th wage board.
On the occasion, all unions under Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) will hold sit-in-demonstrations from 11 am to 4 pm all over the country.
In Dhaka, the journalists will stage their programme in front of the National Press Club while the affiliated unions of BFUJ outside Dhaka will sit on the streets in front of their respective offices.
BFUJ Secretary General Omar Faruque requested all journalists of print and electronic media to participate in the programme in time.
