Journalists demanded judicial inquiry and exemplary punishment to the attackers of President of Chittagong Union of Journalists (CUJ), Riaz Haider Chowdhury and its Joint Secretary Swarup Bhattcharjee.
The rally, conducted by CUJ General Secretary Mohammad Ali, was addressed, among others, by Joint Secretary of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Tapan Chakroborti, its Executive Member Ashif Siraj, former Vice President Abu Taher Mohammad, CUJ leaders Sabur Shuvo, Uzzal Kanti Dhar, Mohammad Ali Pasha, Bishu Roy Chowdhury, Aninda Titu and Pritom Das.
