Senior member of the Jatiya Press Club journalist Rashid-un-Nabi Babu died of cancer at a hospital in the city on Wednesday night. He was 64.
He left behind wife, one daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
He was the Editor of the daily Amar Din.
He also worked at different dailies including Sakaler Khabor, Danik Bangla, Ittefaq, Samokal, Jugantor and Inqilab.
President and General Secretary of the Jatiya Press Club Saiful Alam and Farida Yasmin respectively have condoled over the death of Babu.
They have also extended profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
