Journalist Monir Hossain Majumder died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Tuesday at the age of 55.
He had been suffering from diabetes and other complications and diseases. He was admitted at the hospital about six months ago.
He left behind his wife, one son and one daughter and many relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Monir Hossain worked in many dailies including The Daily Star, The Daily Sun and The New Nation. His last working place was The New Nation.
