Senior Reporter of the Daily Manabzamin Kafi Kamal came under attack of the rowdy men in the capital’s Moghbazar area on Sunday.
He was assaulted while he was trying to take a photo of a clash incident in front of the BTCL School center at about 9am.
He received four injuries in the head and different places of his bodies. He took treatment at Dhaka Community Hospital.

Journalists staying in the BTCL School center said, they rushed to the
spot after seeing the incident and rescued Kafi Kamal.
They said that some ruling party men were beating a young boy blaming him as the BNP supporter. Kafi Kamal, his wife and daughter were going by rickshaw and saw the incident. He stopped the rickshaw and tried to take a photo. Sensing the matter, the attackers started beating him with sticks. They also took away his mobile phone and did not return.
