Noted journalist and Associate Editor of the daily New Age Humayun Zaman died of lung disease at a city hospital yesterday evening. He was 62.
He would be buried at Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard after Zohr prayers on Monday.
Humayun Zaman, a confirmed bachelor, was the elder son of former Chief Editor and Managing Director of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) M Anisuzzaman.
Earlier, he also worked with the New Nation, The Capital News and the Daily Star.
He received injuries in a road accident and was admitted to a city hospital
last month where he had been diagnosed with lung disease.
His Namaz-e-Janaza will be held at Green Corner Mosque on the Green Road in the city after Zohr prayers on Monday.
