around 12:50 am. He left behind his daughter and a host of relatives to mourn his death, said a press release.
He was buried at his family graveyard at Hemayetpur in Savar following a namaz-e-janaza at Jatiya Press Club.
Jatiya Press Club President Muhammad Shafiqur Rahman and its General Secretary Farida Yasmin expressed deep shock at the death of Abdul Baten in a statement. They also conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members of the deceased.
