A human chain was formed at Bauphal Upazila Press Club premises on Monday protesting torture on Sumon Hasan, camera person of DBC television by DB policemen on Emran Hasan Sohel, District correspondent of Daily Kaler Kontho. Bauphal Press Club organised the human chain yesterday noon. Journalists from various print and electronic media working in Bauphal joined the programme. Harun or Rashid Khan, President of Bauphal Press Club, Md Monzur Morsed, Joint Secretary of Bauphal Press Club, Wahiduzzaman Duke, Secretary of Bauphal Press Club, Jasim Uddin, Organizing Secretary of Bauphal Press Club spoke in the protest rally, among others.
