A journalist orientation on creating awareness about leprosy disease was held at Jessore Press Club on Wednesday.
Eminent journalist Rukunuddaullah chaired orientation arranged by Banchteshekha and funded by The Leprosy Mission Internal Bangladesh.
Khalequzzaman, senior programme office, Leprosy Mission Internal Bangladesh presented keynote paper in the orientation in presence of Bidyut Kumar Paul, programme focal, senior journalists – Saifur Rahman Saif, Tauhid Zaman and Abdul wahab Mukul.
Journalists were told in the orientation that leprosy situation in Bangladesh is now in stable condition. Proper treatment can curb this situation.
So, consciousness is needed among people of the country.
