Noted journalist and feature editor of the ‘Dainik Manabkantha’ Obaidul Gani Chandan died of cardiac arrest on Saturday morning. He was 45.
Chandan fell sick at 11am at his office on Saturday and was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Chandan was a prominent rhyme and feature writer, who also worked for different newspapers and private television channels including the weekly Robbar, Independent Television, Boishakhi and Bangla Vision.
