Veteran Journalist Jalal Ahmed is no more.
He died at his won home in Manikganj Town at 9 pm on Monday last . He was suffering from different diseases.
He was 71. Jalam Ahmed left behind wife, 2 daughters, a son, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. His body was buried Sauta Graveyard under Sadar Upazila in Manikganj District.
Jalal Ahmed started his profession with Eastern News Agency-ENA in 1969. He worked as Stuff Reporter in The Dainik Bangla, as Manikganj Correspondent in Bangladesh Television and as News Editor in The Daily Al Azan. He was former President of Manikganj Press Club. He was in important post of Bangladesh Sangbadik Somity and Crime Reporter’s Association.
