The Kulaura Upazila {Moulvibazar} correspondent of the Daily Jugantor and president of pressclub Kulaura, Azizul Islam received death threat over mobile phone on June 25.
A general diary (GD) regarding the death threat was lodged with the police station recent.
Azizul said, he filed GD with the Kulaura police station accusing four in connection and led Kulaura Upazila Vice Chairman Maolana Fojlul Haq Khan Sahed with assaulting him at press club Kulaura office in the Kulaura Upazila town of Moulvibazar. In the GD, the journalist said four identified callers threatened him to withdraw the GD otherwise he and his family members would face insecurity of life .
