Dil Monowara Monu, a senior journalist and former Executive Editor of fortnightly ‘Ananya’, died at BIRDEM Hospital in the city in the early hours of Monday. She was 68.
In 1974, she started her career in journalism as a sub-editor with ‘Begum’ magazine edited by Begum Sufia Kamal and Nurjahan Begum. Later, she joined fortnightly ‘Ananya’ and was with the magazine for 25 years. Her relatives and colleagues sought prayers for her departed soul.
