Sports Journalist Uttam Majumder died in a city hospital on Monday. He was 52. He left behind his wife, one son and a host of well-wishers to mourn his death. He was a member of Bangladesh Sports Press Association. He worked at Prothom Alo, Bhorer Kagoj and many other Bengali daily newspapers.
Officials and members of Bangladesh Sports Press Association expressed deep shock and also expressed consolation to the bereaved family.
