Joj Mia, the man who was falsely implicated in the 21 August grenade attack case, has expressed his satisfaction at the verdict of the case.
Ten months after the brutal attack, the law enforcement tried to portray Joj Mia as the perpetrator of the incident and forced him to give a confessional statement.

mercilessly untill he agreed to become the scapegoat. Speaking with journalists, Joj Mia lamented how his life was made miserable. A rickshaw puller now, Joj Mia had recently got married and began new life.
“For one month, CID beat me black and blue. I am still in pain. A bone in my right hand was fractured and my backbone is yet to be healed,” he said and consoled by the fact that the people behind the tragedy were handed punishment by the court.
However, looking back, he gets philosophical.
“What have I got? Now that the case is over, I hope the government will show me some kindness,” he said.
