A joint meeting comprising Chattogram Development Authority, City Corporation and Armed forces held at City Corporation conference hall with city mayor AJM Nasiruddin in the chair on thursdsy. In the meeting, senior officials of CDA, CCC and Engineering Core of Bangaldesh Army 34 Brigade attended . The meeting discussed the matters of mega waterlogging project of the city and find out ways and means of keeping the city free from watesrlogging in the coming monsoon season . The city mayor in the meeting told that the city dwellers always blame the city corporation in case of watesrlogging experienced. City Mayor also told that in last one and half year, no fruitful results yet to be witnessed during the period and we should involve the ward councilors in this project as they have more experiences in waterlogging as a ward councilor.

He said city corporation has enough manpower to tackle the situation in case of immergency need with sharing of experiences of the councilors. Among others, chief executive officer of CCC Md. Shamsudoha, chief Engineer Lt. col Mohiuddin, , Maj Gen of Bangladesh Army Md. Tanveer and the chief engineer of CDA were present in it.
