Bangladesh Institute of Theatre Arts (BITA) has undertaken a number of creative cultural programs specifically the songs to imbue the juvenile generations since 2003 . Out of total cultural events, songs became more popularto imbue the juveniles. With this continuation and to observe as a part of the 25th anniversary of the BITA, International Council for traditional Music ICTM Bangladesh arranged a symposium on Music Minorities in National context South Asian Music at Alliance Franchaise auditorium on Monday last . In the symposium, visting professor of Sri Lankan University Mr.Lazanthimannarajani was present as discussant. Professor of Slovanian Universituy and ICTM vice president Mr. Pottan presented keynote paper in it.Asstt. Professor of Music Department of Dhaka University Dr.Sayem Rana delivered address of welcome. Secretary Md. Jahangir Hossain moderated the symposium.
Among others, Executive Director of BITA Mr. Shishir Dutta was also present on the occasion.
