The duo was seen together in Desi Boyz and this year they clashed at the box-office with John’s Batla House and Akshay’s Mission Mangal, yet the two of them seemed unaffected by all the buzz about a tussle at the cash counters that surrounded them. John opened up about why he is fond of Akshay, he said, “Akshay and I are not only comfortable with each other, we also love spending time with each other. We share the same lifestyle. Our physicality and mindsets match. We both lead a disciplined life. We don’t like to party. Loud music gives me migraine. We don’t drink, we sleep early and wake up early. Hopefully, Akshay and I will work together in a project soon. Also, while I am a friendly guy, I can’t speak to everyone in a fancy dress, who comes in a fancy car. That’s not my world. My world is of real people who come without bodyguards.”
