Former West Indies fast bowler Joel Garner has been appointed team manager of the current side for a three-year period and he has already joined the outfit who are gearing up for their Test series against India.
The 63-year-old was West Indies interim manager from 2009 to 2010 and also an ‘A’ team manger. He also served as a director on the board for West Indies Cricket Board and headed the Barbados Cricket Association as its president.
“I always answer the call in West Indies cricket,” Garner was quoted as saying by espncricinfo.com on Sunday.
