A daylong Job Fair was held at Green University Bangladesh (GUB) on Thursday for graduates. Center for Career Development (CCD-GUB) organised the fair with collaboration US-Bangla Airlines.
Prof Dr Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice Chancellor of GUB inaugurated the Fair as the Guest of Honor where Md. Fazlul Hoque, Chairman of Noble Group of Companies spoke as Chief Guest.
Prof Dr Muhammad Fayaaz Khan, Pro-VC of GUB and Prof Dr Golam Ahmed Faruqui, Dean-GBS spoke in the event.
In inauguration Session, speakers said that the key objective of the fair was to create ample opportunities for graduates so that they become familiar with various companies and organisations in Bangladesh, which will help them to find jobs easily.
In second session, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, MD & CEO of Robi Axiata Limited delivered his as key speaker.
A total number of 25 multinational and national companies and organizations like US-Bangla Airlines, British Council, Nitol-Niloy Group, Zenith Islami Life Insurance, Solarlad, Sincos, Horaizon Group, Youth Fashion Ltd. AJ International, BD Com, the Daily Star took part in the Job Fair. Through stalls, they collected significant number of CVs from candidates.
