Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) organized a 2-day job fair with the help of bdjobs.com from Wednesday at BUBT permanent campus. A colorful inaugural session was held on the occasion on Wednesday in the International Conference Ha11 of BUBT, Rupnagar in the city.
Prof Dr Shafique Ahmed Siddique, Chairman, BUBT Trust inaugurated the job fair as the Guest of Honor. Md. Aslamul Haque, MP and AKM Fahim Mashroor, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), bdjobs.com were the special guests. Prof Md. Abu Saleh, Vice Chancellor, BUBT presided over the function.
The welcome speech was delivered by ABM Mesbahul Hasan, Deputy Director of Career Guidance and Counseling, BUBT. Speakers gave students essential guidelines for building their better career. They also emphasized on skills and innovations to get the job.
A total of 15 companies participated in the job fair to collect CVs, conduct interviews of BUBT graduates as well as current students to provide full time and part time jobs.
Distinguished Guests, Members of BUBT Trust, Honorable Treasurer, Students’ Affairs Advisor, Deans of different faculties, Research Director, Senior Professors and Chairmen of different departments, Registrar, Controller of Exams, Joint Registrar, Proctor, Joint Director (Accounts), Officials, Teachers and students, Officials from bdjobs were present in the inaugural session.
