A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Jagannath University (JnU) and Aalborg University (AU), Denmark was signed on Tuesday at the JnU Vice-Chancellor’s conference room, says a university press release.
JnU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mizanur Rahman and Prof Dr Peter Hasle, Coordinator of AU signed the MoU on behalf of respective universities.
Prof Dr Zakir Hossain, Dean of Business Faculty, Prof Dr Mosharaf Hossain, Chairman of the Management Studies Department, Associate Professor Dr Bokhtiyer Rana of Management Studies Department and Prof Dr Ali Noor, Chairperson of AIS Department, JnU were present on this occasion.
According to the MoU the two universities will cooperate with each other in the field of educational recherché, development, training, transfer of technology, dissemination of knowledge on long term basis, and specially to promote research for increasing production in garments sector in Bangladesh.
The two universities also agreed to exchange of students at the post-graduate level.
