JnU correspondent :A female student of Jagannath University (JnU) sustained severe burn injuries when a group of blockade supporters torched a passenger bus in the city’s Rayerbag area during the blockade programme by BNP-led 20-party alliance on Saturday morning.She was rescued from blazing bus by some local people and rushed to the National Medical College and Hospital (NMCH).The victim was identified as Sultana Islam, 24, an MSS student of Anthropology Department of JnU. On-duty doctor of NMCH Rashedul Hassan said, ‘Sultana has suffered severe burn injuries on her left leg.’Besides, another four to five people also suffered burn injuries following arson attack, witnesses said.
