Former Chairperson of the Department of Political Science of Jagannath University Prof Dr SM Anowara Begum has been awarded ‘Dr MA Wazed Miah Gold Medal-2015’ as the best teacher.
She received the medal at a function held at National Press Club recently. ‘Dr MA Wazed Miah Memorial Foundation’ organised the programme to mark the 73rd birth anniversary of well-known nuclear Scientists Dr MA Wazed Miah, said a press release issued by JnU Public Relation Office.
Moreover, Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor and DU VC Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique received the medal as the best actor and the best educationist respectively.
