The Jagannath University (JnU) Alumni Association will be formed soon. In this regard, a discussion meeting will be held on Monday evening in a local restaurant of Ramna in the capital.
Former General Secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League Nazrul Islam Babu, MP, Presidium Member of Jatiya Party Advocate Kazi Firoj Rashid, MP, Former MP Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Press Secretary of Prime Minister Nur-e-Alam Mina, Prime Minister’s Protocol Officer Khorshed Alam and JnU Teachers Association (JnUTA) President Professor Dr Kazi Saifuddin will be present in the meeting.
An entrepreneur of the JnU Alumni Association and Former President of Dhaka Bar Association Advocate Kazi Nazibullah Hiru said, “The University has a long historical background. So, we have decided to promote friendship and interaction between the former and incumbent students, teachers and employees of the Jagannath University by establishing the JnU Alumni Association”.
“JnU Students Welfare Director Shafiqul Islam, JnU unit of BCL President FM Shariful Islam and General Secretary SM Sirajul Islam are working with us to form the association”, he said.
On last Friday, a meeting was held on the campus in this regard.
