JnU Correspondent :The admission process of Jagannath University (JnU) for the first year (first semester) Honours courses of 2015-16 academic year in 32 departments under five faculties will begin on August 29 to continue till September 17.The examination will be held of 32 departments under five faculties, while the candidates can apply anytime through short message service (SMS) by any pre-paid number of Teletalk mobile phone that will cost Tk 350 only for each form including service charge, according to university register office.Students with GPA 7.5 will be eligible for Science, Business Studies, vocational and Diploma courses while students having GPA 7.0 will be eligible for other subjects. The students having less than GPA 3.0, including fourth subject, in SSC or HSC will not be eligible to sit in the admission test. However, the date of the examination under different units scheduled to be held as Unit ‘Ka’ under Science faculty on October 30, Unit ‘Kha’ under Humanities faculty on October 09, Unit ‘Ga’ under Business faculty on October 16, Unit ‘Gha’ under Social Science faculty on November 06 and Unit ‘Cha’ under Fine Arts faculty will be held on November 13. All admission tests will be held at 3:00 pm.The admission seekers has been advised to bring the photocopy of HSC Registration card, application form submission pin code number and two copies of passport size attached coloured photograph.Like the previous year, the admission test of JnU will be held under Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) method.
