Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an active member of the banned Islamic militant outfit Jamaatul Mujahidin Bangladesh (JMB) from Raghunathpur Roadpara area under Shibganj upazila in the district earlier yesterday. The operative was identified as Md. Jamal Hossain, 50, at Ranihati Master Para of the upazila.
RAB-5 said, acting on a tip off an operation team of the elite force from Rajshahi Mollapara camp raided the area at around 3 am and arrested Jamal with three Islamic revolutionary books.. Later he was handed over to the Shibganj Thana police with a case.
