A Chittagong court on Tuesday granted five-day remand to the commander of the banned militant outfit Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) in Chittagong region Earshad Hosain alias Bijoy alias Mamun in a case filed in connection with the recovered explosives and grenade-making materials from city’s Akbar Shah area on Monday. The court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate granted the five-day remand as prayed for by police.
