A school teacher was crashed under the wheels of a train at Fulbaria gate near Barobazer under Kaliganj upazila in Jhenaidah on Wednesday morning. The deceased was Rabiul Islam, 43, son of Asir Uddin of Faila village under the same upazila. He was an assistant teacher of Agriculture section at Jhanjhania Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Bidya Nikatan at Kaliganj.
Headmaster of the school Nilkamal Roy said, Rabiul was crashed under the wheel of a Sayedpur bound Rupsha Express-up-727 at around 9.30 am while he was trying to cross the rail line.Nazrul Islam, station master of Barobazar Railway station when contacted said, he has heard about the accident that a school teacher was crushed under the wheels of Rupsha in Kaliganj. Kaliganj police station officer in charge Aminul Islam confirmed the death of the school teacher.
