Jhenaidah District team and Kishoreganj District team won their respective matches of the Walton 3rd National Women’s Hockey Competition on Tuesday.
In the day’s second match, Jhenaidah District team defeated Patuakhali District team by 2-0 goals at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Sharmin Khatun of Jhenaidah District team scored two goals in the 29th and 48th minutes.
In the day’s third match, Kishoreganj District team blanked Rangpur District team by 9-0 goals at the same venue.
Tanha Tarannum, Sumi Akhter, Bina Akhter, Fardia Akhter of Kishoreganj District team successfully struck one time each on the board and their teammate Tarin Akhter scored one goal.
Meanwhile, the match between Rajshahi District team and Thakurgaon District team ended in a goalless draw at the same venue on the same day.

Dinajpur District team vs Patuakhali District team (11.00 am), Narail District team vs Rangpur District team (2.30 pm), Dhaka District team vs Rajshahi District team (4.15 pm).
