District watch in pictures: JHALAKATHI: A twenty one day-long training programme on duck, chicken and Cattle rearing was started of three upazilas in Jhalakathi jointly organised by Women and Child Affairs Ministry and Global Rural Environment Society (GRES) recently . Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Industries and Awami League advisory council member Amir Hossain Amu formally inaugurated the training programme as Chief Guest at Sadar Upazlla Audotirium. Md Johor Ali, DC, Jhalakathi presided over the programme while Fatema Yasmin, SP, Md Rahat Khan, Secretary General of GRES and Md Altaf Hossain, District Women Affairs Officer were present on the occasion.
